1. What services do you offer?

At Soul & Dawn, we specialize in professional wedding photography, cinematic highlight films, and full-day coverage packages.

We offer standalone photo or video services, as well as combined packages for couples who want the complete story captured.

03. When will we receive our photos and videos?

Photos are delivered within 3–4 weeks, and films within 4–6 weeks. We also provide sneak peeks and previews behind the scenes to keep the excitement going while we work on the full gallery and film.

3. Do you offer full-day coverage?

Yes, we do! Our full-day coverage typically includes everything from the getting-ready moments through to the reception and first dance. We tailor each package to suit your timeline and ensure no important moment is missed.

If you have specific hours or events in mind, we're happy to customise the coverage to fit your needs.

4. Do you travel?

Yes, of course. I’m always happy to travel wherever your wedding is. Whether it’s here in Melbourne or somewhere far or a different state, I’d love to be there with you. Just send me a message, and we can talk about it

5. Will you guide us if we feel awkward?

This is the most common thing couples tell me, and honestly, you don’t have to worry at all. I’ll guide you in a very natural way, and most of the time you’ll just be enjoying your moment together. My goal is to make you feel comfortable, relaxed, and just be yourselves

6. Do you shoot alone or with a second photographer?

Most weddings only require me, as my portfolio reflects my style, ensuring you receive me who's style you fell in love with. I am the principal photographer, but depending on the event's scale, I may quote for additional shooters.

7. Do you offer engagement sessions?

Yes, most of my wedding packages include an engagement session. It’s such a beautiful way for us to get to know each other and help you feel comfortable in front of the camera before your wedding day. It also gives you a chance to have relaxed, meaningful photos together during this special season of your life

8. How do we officially book?

To secure your date, a signed contract and a 30% retainer is required. Once that’s done, your wedding date is officially booked and saved.

9. How will we receive our photos & videos?

Your high-resolution photos will be delivered through a private online gallery, where you can download them. You can also share this gallery with anyone you choose.

11. What Happens if It Rains on My Wedding Day?

Here in the Victoria, rain is a very real possibility and unpredictable. Know this – rain doesn’t have to ruin your photos! In fact, it can add a romantic, dramatic touch.

Backup Plan: Discuss covered or indoor locations with your venue.

Props: Cuddling together under clear umbrellas can add a cozy feeling to your photos.

Flexibility: A good photographer will adapt to the weather and find creative solutions.

10. How do you approach capturing a wedding story?

My approach starts with careful timeline planning to ensure ideal natural light throughout your celebration. I work closely with you or and your planner to create a schedule that allows for ample time for both portraits and candid moments, ensuring a smooth experience. By combining directed shots, styled details, and spontaneous editorial coverage, I achieve a blend of people, details, and moments.

13. Can I Provide a Shot List?

Absolutely! While most photographers have a standard shot list in mind, sharing specific moments, poses or group photos you want ensures nothing is overlooked. Examples include:

A first look with a parent, Close-ups of rings and/or invitations ,Creative or non-traditional wedding party shots

Quick Tip: Use Pinterest to compile your favourite or must-have shots and share the board(s) with your photographer closer to your wedding date, so it’s fresh in their mind.
